  • Three new triterpenoids were isolated: 3-oxo-11,13(18)-oleanadien-28-oic acid, 24-hydroxy-3-oxo-11,13(18)-oleanadien-28-oic acid, and 6 beta-hydroxy-3-oxo-11,13(18)-oleanadien-28-oic acid.
  • Previously known compounds, including virgatic acid, vibsanin B, and 3-hydroxyvibsanin E, were also identified.
  • Structures were confirmed by detailed analysis of NMR spectral data.

Conclusions:

  • The study successfully identified novel triterpenoids from Viburnum suspensum.
  • The findings contribute to the understanding of the phytochemical profile of Viburnum suspensum.
  • This research provides a basis for further investigation into the biological activities of these isolated compounds.
