Summary

The catechol-O-methyltransferase (COMT) gene polymorphism is not associated with endometriosis risk. This study found no link between the low-activity COMT-L allele and endometriosis in women.

  • Findings suggest this specific COMT polymorphism does not influence susceptibility to endometriosis.
