Summary

Intrascrotal lithiasis, a rare condition, was observed in two patients with hydrocele. Crystallographic analysis revealed hydroxyapatite centers and organic matter exteriors, suggesting a unique calcification process.

Background:

  • Two patients with hydrocele presented with intrascrotal calculi.

  • No history of scrotal trauma was reported in either patient.

  • The calculi's exterior was primarily composed of yellow organic matter.
  • X-ray dispersion analysis confirmed the mineral composition as calcium phosphate.
