[Topical and differential diagnosis of facial paralysis. Study based on 1000 cases]

The functional and clinical investigation of peripheral facial paralysis is discussed by the authors in brief. On ground of the scheme of Sturm the relativity of topographical diagnosis is demonstrated. According to their frequency in a statistic of 1009 cases the different causes of facial palsy are discussed as well as the problems involved in differential diagnosis.
