Abstract:
Philological study about how the making of a Gynecology in Ancient, Medieval and Renaissance world took as starting and reference point an Andrological understanding of Medicine (as 'Medicine of the human being'). The same terms (testes, semen, vasa, seminaria) were always used to name the sexual organs and functions of male and female bodies.
