Abstract:
Total cataract occured four days after the patient was struck in the eye by a cow's tail - no eyewitness, unsatisfactory evidence. In addition retinal detachment was present diagnosed ten months after the cataract operation. - A cataract in advanced stage of development was also in the other eye of the 55-year-old man, who is old for his years. - A causal connection with the alleged accident cannot be assumed with sufficient prohability.
