    Background:

    • Hemopoietic stem cells (HSCs) are crucial for blood cell regeneration.
    • Understanding HSC kinetics and pluripotency post-irradiation is vital for recovery studies.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To investigate the pluripotential nature of mononuclear cells in murine spleen colonies after irradiation.
    • To characterize the proliferative and differentiation capacity of these cells.

    Main Methods:

    • Mice were subjected to a split-dose irradiation regimen (850R L.S. 3- L.I.).
    • Tritiated thymidine labeling was used to track cell proliferation and differentiation.
