[Implantation of nuclear pacemaker]

A case of a patient who received a QRS synchronous pacemaker following an AV block as a permanent therapeutic measure was presented. During reimplantatoon, a nuclear pacemaker, as opposed to the conventional type, was implanted. The nuclear pacemaker derived its energy from Prometium 147. The nuclear impulse generatory, and the principles of its function have been described in the introduction.
