Variable indenter to modify indentation during biomicroscopy of the peripheral fundus
Abstract:
A modified scleral indentation attachment to the Goldmann three-mirror lens permitted visualization of the same area with and without indentation. Intraocular pressure increased only at the time of indentation. A plastic funnel replaced the metal one, thus reducing the entry of air bubbles between the glass and cornea.
