Tubal Cytology of the Fallopian Tube as a Promising Tool for Ovarian Cancer Early Detection
Published on: July 25, 2017
Abstract:
Since the appearance of the new imaging techniques (ultrasonography, CT MRI) the hysterosalpingography has lost many indications. Therefore, the hysterosalpingography remains one of the most useful investigations in the assessment of tubar infertility; provided that it is not restricted to only demonstrate the permeability of Fallopian tubes. The high quality of the pictures and their sharp analysis is one of the major factor of both clinical and therapeutical decisions. The selective uni or bilateral salpingography provides gynecologists with the best investigations for therapy of tubar infertility and for the tubar sterilisation.
