Summary

Non-parasitic hepatic cysts rarely cause jaundice. Percutaneous drainage effectively treated these rare cases in two patients.

  • These cysts were identified as the cause of biliary obstruction.

Findings:

  • Percutaneous drainage was successfully employed in both cases.
  • The procedure resolved the jaundice and cyst-related symptoms.

Implications:

  • Percutaneous drainage is a viable treatment option for symptomatic non-parasitic hepatic cysts.
  • This approach can effectively manage jaundice caused by hepatic cysts.
