Summary

CD44v6 adhesion molecule levels in oral dysplasia do not predict clinical outcomes. While CD44v6 indicates normal epithelial differentiation, it reflects disordered maturation in oral dysplasia and carcinomas, but is not a reliable prognostic marker.
