Summary

Endoscopic third ventriculostomy (ETV) offers a promising alternative to shunts for treating hydrocephalus in tuberculous meningitis (TBM). This preliminary study shows ETV effectively converts non-communicating hydrocephalus to a communicating form, manageable with medication.
