Summary

Pseudomonas aeruginosa is a significant cause of respiratory infections, especially in ventilated patients and those with cystic fibrosis. Optimizing antibiotic therapy using PK/PD concepts and inhaled antibiotics like tobramycin is crucial for managing these difficult-to-treat infections.
