Bovine lactoferrin (bLf) binds to insulin-like growth factor (IGF)-binding protein-3 (IGFBP-3), potentially influencing IGFBP-3:IGF interactions. This study identifies bLf as a novel binding partner for IGFBP-3 on mammary membranes.
