Abstract:
A novel chiral tetradentate Schiff base ligand forms dinuclear lambda,lambda-[M2L2Cl2]2+ complexes with high diastereoselectivity; the complexes exhibit anomalous CD spectra due to exciton coupling of chromophores located on different metal centres.
