Abstract:
A one-step immunoassay for Ribonuclease A (RNase A) detection was established based on expressed Fv-antibodies and switching peptides. RNase A-binding Fv-antibodies were screened from an autodisplayed Fv-antibody library. Release of the switching peptide upon RNase A binding enabled direct, wash-free fluorescence detection with a detection limit of 18.1 pg mL-1.
