Summary

A 2-hour elution of technetium-99m-colloid albumin (99mTc-Nanocoll) significantly increases sentinel lymph node (SLN) count rates in breast cancer patients. This method is reliable, whether performed simultaneously with lumpectomy or after prior excision biopsy.
