Abstract:
A 63-year-old patient had spontaneous rupture of asymptomatic hydronephrosis+ into the peritoneal cavity as result of cast renal calculus. During the operation similar changes in the right kidney were found and, in view of this, palliative operation was done with removal of concrements and sparing of both pathologically changed kidneys. After the operation the kidneys resumed their function.
