Relations among perceived self-efficacy, self-esteem, and school achievement

Summary

This study found that self-efficacy beliefs, not self-esteem, significantly correlate with scholastic achievement in adolescents. Different dimensions of self-esteem showed varying associations with domain-specific self-efficacy.
