Summary

This study analyzed 1470 sarcoma cases, finding that large tumor size and initial metastasis predict poor outcomes. Achieving a complete response to primary therapy is crucial for improving overall survival in sarcoma patients.

Purpose of the Study:

  • To review clinical characteristics of 1470 sarcoma cases.
  • To identify patient factors predicting outcome, relapse, and survival.

  • Evaluation of demographic, tumor, and treatment variables.

  • Complete response to primary therapy is the key independent predictor of overall survival.
  • Earlier diagnosis and multidisciplinary teams are vital for better outcomes.
