The Child and Adolescent Trial for Cardiovascular Health (CATCH) Eat Smart Program helped schools meet U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) nutrition standards for school lunches. Intervention schools showed better adherence to fat and carbohydrate guidelines five years post-implementation.
