Summary

New pentasaccharides offer targeted antithrombotic therapy by specifically inhibiting activated coagulation factor X (FXa). These agents, like Fondaparinux and Idraparinux, show promise in preventing and treating thromboembolic events and managing related cardiovascular conditions.
