[Use of the perceptive stimulative model (PSM, Romano, 1979) as an individual and/or group diagnostic test]

MEP (Spanish acronym for Perceptive-stimulative Model) is a visual test whose nimble and simple administration is apt for both individual and group studies. As a diagnosis complementary instrument, its design has been arranged so that the perceptive material (i.e. geometric outlines) offers information on the degree of integration of ego functions, an analysis of which allows perspectives applicable to diagnosis, prognosis, and therapeutical orientation. At the same time, such analysis enables hypotheses related to the interaction potential of patients involved to be advanced.
