[A retropharyngeal synovial sarcoma].

Background:

Synovial sarcomas represent 7-10% of all soft tissue malignancies.
These tumors predominantly occur in the extremities.
Head and neck region accounts for approximately 5% of all synovial sarcoma cases.

A rare case of retropharyngeal synovial sarcoma is presented.
The tumor's location in the retropharyngeal space poses unique diagnostic and therapeutic challenges.

Detailed clinical presentation and diagnostic workup of the retropharyngeal synovial sarcoma.
