Dynamic changes in left ventricular wall thickness and their use in analyzing cardiac function in the conscious dog

This study shows that measuring left ventricular free wall thickness can accurately assess cardiac function, even during ischemia. This offers a new approach for cardiac function assessment with potential echocardiographic applications.
