The Priory Parents Workshop

The workshop was a successful attempt to to meet the needs of parents of handicapped children. Using a multidisciplinary team the 16-session workshop enabled both parents and professionals to discuss the problems associated with handicapped children and possible practical solutions. The unique approach of the Priory Workshop could be the prototype for future community services to help the mentally hanidcapped.
