Abstract:
Today there is a multiplicity of options for publishing scientific research work. In a specialized field like blood pump studies it is readily established that a very small number of journals publish the vast majority of work. Reading and publishing in those journals will provide the quickest exposure of the work to the most specifically interested and relevant people, even if the "impact factors" of those journals do not have stratospheric values.
