Objective:
To study the adsorption and desorption behavior of macroporous adsorbption resin AB-8 for glycyrrhizic acid and its effect factors.
Methods:
The optimum purification conditions were investigated by high performance liquid chromatography and the orthogonal experiments.
Results:
The optimum conditions were as follows: the flow rate at 1 ml/min, pH at 6.4-7.4 and the solution concentration at 10 mg/ml.
Conclusion:
AB-8 had a high adsorption capacity for glycyrrizic acid and elution was easy.
