[The efficiency of endoscopic therapy of duodenal ulcer by laser copper emanation]
Abstract:
A factor analysis of 16 clinical-anamnestic indices was used in order to estimate their significance for the assessment of efficiency of high energy endoscopic laser therapy of duodenal ulcers with yellow, green and yellow-green emanation of the copper laser. It was demonstrated that the rate of ulcer cicatrization was dependent on its size, course of the ulcer disease, manifestations and steadiness of pain syndrome, but the morphological severity of the injury did not correlate with its clinical symptoms, and duration of the remission period after the phototreatment was mainly determined by the color of the laser beam.
