Area of Science:

  • Oncology
  • Orthopedics
  • Pulmonology

Background:

  • Osteoma is a rare, benign bone tumor typically affecting the skull.
  • Involvement of long bones is uncommon, and specific associations are seldom reported.

Observation:

  • This report details a unique case of a clavicular osteoma.
  • The clavicular osteoma was found concurrently with bronchial osteomas.

Findings:

  • This is the first reported instance of an association between clavicular and bronchial osteomas.
  • The patient did not exhibit symptoms or diagnostic markers of Gardner's syndrome.

Implications:

  • This finding expands the known clinical spectrum of osteoma presentations.
  • It suggests a potential, previously unrecognized association between osteomas in distinct anatomical locations.
