Its use is advantageous especially for the prevention of pressure elevation occurring in response to physical exercise thus for the prevention of effort angina as well, 4. It is a reliable drug to be used in haemodynamic laboratories for measuring nitroglycerin effect, 5. Due to the rapidly developing fall of end diastolic pressure caused by the product it is also of value in controlling cardiac asthma attacks.
