[Magnesium metabolism in chronic primary hypomagnesemia]

This study reports on infants with primary hypomagnesemia and secondary hypocalcemia, finding impaired intestinal magnesium absorption and tissue magnesium mobilization. Supplementation effectively controlled symptoms and corrected serum levels.
