  • Analytical Chemistry
  • Materials Science

Context:

  • Herba Hedyotidis, a traditional Chinese medicine, requires reliable identification methods.
  • Existing identification techniques may lack specificity or efficiency.
  • Accurate authentication is crucial for therapeutic efficacy and safety.

Purpose:

  • To develop and validate a novel method for the identification and analysis of Herba Hedyotidis.
  • To establish a standard Powder X-Ray diffraction (PXRD) fourier fingerprint pattern for Herba Hedyotidis.
  • To assess the efficacy of the PXRD fourier fingerprint method in distinguishing Herba Hedyotidis samples.

Summary:

  • A Powder X-Ray diffraction (PXRD) fourier fingerprint pattern method was employed.
  • Experiments were conducted on eight Herba Hedyotidis samples.

Related Experiment Videos
