Abstract:
The growing ageing population is leading to an increase in the number of men presenting with lower urinary tract symptoms. This paper argues in favour of more nurse-led clinics offering a holistic approach to assessing this condition that take account of local needs. New guidelines from the British Association of Urology Nurses are also discussed.
