Summary

Echo-planar magnetic resonance spectroscopic imaging (EP-MRSI) may improve mood in bipolar disorder patients. This study found mood improvements in bipolar disorder subjects undergoing actual EP-MRSI compared to sham procedures, suggesting a potential therapeutic effect.
