ADP-ribosylation factor (Arf) GTPase-activating proteins (GAPs) regulate cellular architecture by controlling Arf GTP hydrolysis. These Arf GAPs exhibit both Arf-dependent and Arf-independent functions, impacting membrane trafficking and actin remodeling.
