Abstract:
The antiamnesic properties of a series of new 3-hydroxy-3-pyrrolin-2-on derivatives structurally analogous to pyrrolidinone nootropes and GABA were studied on a model of amnesia of the passive avoidance conditioned reflex. The screening revealed compounds whose antiamnesic action is comparable with that of piracetam.
