Abstract:
Imaging findings of schizencephaly as well as other neuronal migration anomalies have been well described. We present brain MR images of a 12-year-old boy who had open lip schizencephaly in which the transcerebral cleft extended between the third ventricle and the pial surface of the hemisphere. There were also other accompanying neuronal migration anomalies and corpus callosum agenesis.
