Abstract:
Diagnostic criteria for dilated cardiomyopathy and those for its differential diagnosis with coronarogenic and non-coronarogenic (nonrheumatic myocarditis and other patterns of cardiomyopathy) as well as infiltrative myocardial lesions and some acquired and congenital heart diseases, pericarditis and cardiac tumors (myxomas) were presented. Emphasis was given to the analysis of the informative value of the current instrumental, mostly noninvasive, techniques.
