  • Surgical excision is the primary treatment modality for perianal BCC.
  • The condition generally has a favorable prognosis.

Implications:

  • Local tumor excision is the standard treatment for perianal basal cell carcinoma.
  • Despite a good prognosis, vigilant monitoring is necessary to detect potential local recurrences.
  • Early diagnosis and management are key for successful outcomes in rare BCC presentations.
