Growth hormone-binding proteins of human serum: developmental patterns in normal man

Growth hormone (GH) binding protein levels in human serum change significantly from birth to adulthood. Low-affinity binding protein (LA-BP) peaks in early childhood, while high-affinity binding protein (HA-BP) levels rise gradually into adulthood.
