Abstract:
In October 2002 Southend Hospital NHS Trust in Essex undertook a trial of a two-piece disposable body-worn pad system (TENA Comfort Mini Extra) and a disposable absorbent one-piece body-worn pull-up (TENA Pants), with a view to converting the whole trust to using these products. The trial was successful and it was agreed by the commodity advisory group that these products should be standardised across the hospital.
