Breathing disorders during sleep in myasthenia gravis

Myasthenia gravis patients often experience diaphragmatic weakness, leading to sleep-disordered breathing. Older patients with higher BMI and abnormal lung function are at greater risk for sleep apnea and oxygen desaturation.
