Abstract:
In Germany research on nurses has dealt mainly with shortages, fluctuation, motivation, stress and working conditions, not on the characteristics of nursing care nor on specific groups of nurses. And as there were few research projects that touched on nurses who work night shifts, a study was designed to specifically cover this group. Below, the results of a research project that was both a teaching and a learning project initiated by nurses who wanted to learn nursing research by doing research.
