Summary

Coccidioidomycosis, a fungal infection, rarely affects the head and neck. This case highlights that combining needle aspiration with antifungal medication improved treatment for disseminated coccidioidomycosis with lymphadenopathy.

  • Concomitant needle aspiration of cystic lymph nodes significantly reduced fungal load.
