Background:

  • The Ages and Stages Questionnaires (ASQ) is a widely used developmental screening tool.

Purpose of the Study:

  • To compare normative data of a Norwegian translation of the Ages and Stages Questionnaires (ASQ) with original US normative data.
  • To assess the generalizability of ASQ normative data to a Norwegian population.

  • A Norwegian translation of the ASQ was administered to 1341 children by Norwegian mothers.
  • Domain scores were compared between the Norwegian sample and original US normative data for 10 age intervals.
