Human herpesvirus-7 (HHV-7) is a ubiquitous virus with over 85% prevalence in the US. While associated with exanthem subitum, its role in other diseases and interaction with HIV-1 requires further investigation.

Background:

  • Human herpesvirus-7 (HHV-7) is a recently discovered virus with limited known information regarding its prevalence and biological aspects.
