Purpose of the Study:

  • Introduce a novel quantitative method for assessing endodontic leakage.
  • Compare the sealing ability of three different endodontic sealers.
  • Evaluate the long-term performance of sealers under hydrostatic pressure.

Main Methods:

  • Eighty maxillary anterior teeth were divided into three experimental and two control groups.
  • Teeth were prepared using a modified double-flared technique and obturated with gutta-percha and one of three sealers (Pulp Canal Sealer EWT, Sealapex, AH Plus).
