Serum homocysteine concentration in patients with acute MI and chronic IHD

Findings:

  • Serum Hcy levels were significantly higher in both AMI and CHD patients compared to healthy controls (P<0.05).
  • No significant difference in serum Hcy levels was observed between AMI and CHD groups (P>0.05).
